SOLVED: Greyhole won't start anymore

hi everybody,

first: i have amahi 7 on fed19, it worked perfectly for years/month. but last week i had a full root-drive (lz was on root, but it wasn't a full lz, i think it has been too big log-files. 50gb-root-drive)

i moved the lz to another drive, everything ok with this.

but since 2 days i can't start greyhole, eg: greyhole -S gives no response

here is the service status with an error (start-limit) - who can help me?
and: on my root-drive i have 13gb free of 50, normally i have about 25-30gb free. but i can't find those big directorys

an idea: maybe it's because the service's name "amahi-greyhole" ?? maybe an update did rename it from greyhole to amahi-greyhole??

how could i change this? uninstall amahi-greyhole and install greyhole ??

amahi-greyhole is the correct name. You might consider reinstalling it by doing the following as root user:

yum reinstall amahi-greyhole

Also recommend you check the /etc/greyhole.conf to ensure it reflects the correct info. Did you follow the moving landing sonze wiki guidance?

yes - i followed the moving lz-guide. i think there is no error.
whats the thing with the pid-error?

Have you rebooted the machine.

I have seen this error only once and the reinstall appeared to correct it then.

Did you check the /etc/greyhole.conf file as suggested?

i just arrived at home, tried a restart and: greyhole works

thank you!

now i just have to find out, where my space is gone on my root-drive and why some drives disappear on greyhole (fantec 4xusb-hdd-rack)

Good to hear it's working now.

The settings in /etc/greyhole.conf are related to your issue most likely now.
