SOLVED: Switch out primary drive w/o impacting gh drives

Hi there -
So when I first built my server, it was a bit of a pet project motivated by curiosity, but my Amahi server is now pretty critical. After some external drives died, it became the one repository of all of our data, and greyhole with its redundancy has been a lifesaver.
Since it was at first just a fun project, I wasn't worried about the fact that I used an old IDE drive I found in a bin in my closet as the OS drive. It's been working fine as far as I can tell, but it's very old, and SMART is reporting some errors. I want to switch it out, but I have no idea how easy that will be with all of the data in my greyhole shares. Is it simply a matter of setting up the new OS drive, connecting the greyhole drives, marking the shares as gh drives, and the data will be seen and all will be well? Are there special steps? Would it be easier (or even possible) to clone my current OS drive to a new drive?
I want to take the next steps to make my server a more pro setup, but I don't want to risk losing any of my data.
Thanks for any help.
