Switching a drive in the pool

One of my drives is getting a lot of bad blocks, so I wanted to move all the data from it back into the pool after removing it. Data seems to read fine off of it, the problems happen with writing. I did greyhole --going for it, (but didn't have room to move all the files) then unchecked it in amahi settings, then put my new drive in and added it to the pool. The old drive is hooked up to a usb2 sata dock and I thought I should be able to move everything off it by setting the share location to the usb sata dock (for example, /media/drive5/gh/Photos).
I was expecting this to clear everything off the /media/drive5 disk into my regular storage pool, but as far as I can tell it's hardly moved anything after forcing greyhole --fsck. I tried it again just in case I was going crazy but it still hasn't moved anything.
Any ideas?
