Is there a way of forcing Greyhole to clear Landing Zone

Hi everyone,
I have my Amahi Server set up so that my landing zone is on the same drive as / and my LVM (it's an older Fedora 14 installation). What I want to know is, whether I can force greyhole to empty the landing zone altogether, as I want to do a reinstallation, and I don't want to lose any files in there. Here are my overall stats on the server:
Free space: 2.3 TB
Used space: 2.6 TB
Total space: 4.9 TB
I have two 2TB drives, along with various other drives in the server, and nothing is overly full (plenty of free space on everything). So, what I'm wanting to do is clean out /var/hda/files.
I realize that I can manually move the files, but I also know that it's not the preferable way to do it (in other words, it might cause issues with Greyhole).
One final thing (the editing that I'm doing). I noticed in the Shares tab, that I could (in theory) remove /var/hda/files from my storage pool. I know that greyhole will move everything off of the drive at that point, but what are the other effects of doing so? ****IF I choose to go this route, it will basically involve this series of steps: Remove /var/hda/files --> When Greyhole is done moving everything, shut the computer down --> Disconnect all of the drives, so that I don't lose data --> Install Amahi (newest version) --> Shut down (after configuring the server) and reconnect all drives --> Add them back into the storage pool.
Will that method work, or will I risk losing all of my data?
Thanks, and have a great day.
Patrick.
