Drive shows up in storage tab, but not in pool

Postby schnits » Sun Oct 14, 2012 9:28 am

I have been reading through a bunch of documentation but I can't seem to find an answer.

I had a working Amahi installation on one computer. I upgraded, re-installed, etc. Everything seems to be chugging along fine, with the exception of one drive (I shall call it "drive5").

It shows up in storage>partitions along with all other partitions.

I go to shares>storage pool, and the drive is not there. Drives 1,2,3,6,7 are all there though (there is no drive 4 and never was one). My install is Ubuntu 12.04 server. I can browse drive5 in the terminal so it's mounted.

Any insight? Do we need more information?

Have you tried restarting Greyhole. It sounds like it's not properly mounted or formatted. Ensure you follow the wiki guidance.

NTFS will work if that is the disk file system, but you need to have all the correct depends installed.

Good to hear you have it sorted out.
