I have a problem with my shares - after working fine for several months all the files appear to have vanished from the main directory, but when looking in the /var/hda/files/ directory they appear as links:

These files do not appear in the share (in this case, /mnt/samba/Pictures/ ...)

The other day I was trying to get a squeezebox app working and may have changed some permissions on the files, I suspect this is what messed it up but I am not sure what to do to fix it.

think i may have fixed this with

chown -R matt:users /var/hda/files/
greyhole --fsck

The logs still seem to have database errors though so not sure what's going on with that. However all the files are now displaying properly on the shares.
