Hey guys,
Quick question.. I'm not sure if I'm seeing a potential gotcha here or not, so I thought I'd run it by the crowd..
Here's a hypothetical scenario:
I've got 2 different resumes. One is has a programming slant on the content and the other has more of an IT management slant on the content. They are in 2 different folders, the one with the programming content is in the "programming" folder and the other one is in the "management" folder. Both have the same name, resume.doc. Both of those folders reside in a parent "resumes" folder within the Users share, which is set to maintain 2 copies in that share.
What happens here? Do I get two copies of each? So, four total, like I really want (which for sure would happen if they had different titles) or do I potentially run into several different gotcha scenarios: (a) only one copy of each is maintained, (b) 2 copies of one with loss of the other, (c) (b) inverted.???
Or, does gh look at other attributes like file size, date, or some other variable to arrive at the conclusion these are not the same file? I have a file I debuged that on first glance, looks like it might be a problem, but wanted to run it by the cognoscenti to see if my concerns are for naught..

Same file name, Different folder/path??
Re: Same file name, Different folder/path??
I'm sure that the duplication happens at the directory level, so that even if there are files of the same name in different directories, the directories will be copied so the (duplicated) files remain separate.
