Newbie question - Usershares --> Greyhole

I've ran away from WHS because of the missing drive extender option in 2011. After searching for a suitable replacement I believe Amahi is the correct answer (for now).
I have a Fedora14/Amahi installation up and running now I'm starting to copy my data to my user share (created by default when creating a new user) visible as share in Windows under the HDA.

2 things:
- I can't find the share in Amahi and
- How can I make sure (using Greyhole) files in the user share are duplicated in the storage pool

Please help....

Best to start by reading the Greyhole page in the wiki.

http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhole

You can find the answers to most questions there.

I have searched and searched but didn't find an answer to my questions. Maybe my search is terrible or there is another reason why, but hopefully help is out there.
On http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhole I didn't find anything of help

I have created a user in Amahi (i.e. username: Amahi1 / pw: 12345). This user is also a local Windows7 user. So when I log into the Windows PC with the same credentials I connect to the Amahi server and see a usershare named: Amahi1.
Login into another workstation with other credentials will not show the user share.

In the Amahi setup I can't find this user (or any users) share. Because of this I can't add this share to my Greyhole pool.

Hopefully there is a simple solution..... Hope for a positive answer

Thnx

User shares do not show up in the dashboard. You will need to add it and point the path to /home/Amahi1. Then you will be able to add it to Greyhole.

It is not necessary to have the same user credentials on Windows as on the HDA. If you access shares from another machine, you will then be prompted for a user name and password. This needs to be an HDA user.

I have tried this (changed the path under the share to the username as created as new user), but failed permission when trying to open the share from the Win7 PC.
Also no popup for user credentials.....Am I doing something wrong?
