[Greyhole] Files disappear after copying them into shares

Postby thierryamahi » Fri Mar 25, 2011 3:55 pm

Hi !

Fresh install of Fedora 14 and Amahi 6.

From my Mac, I move some files to my shares. The folders stay there but the big files disappear after a few seconds. Small files (.srt files and Thumbs.db stay there).

For what it's worth, files are copied from a user named macmini, who is not an admin.

1/ version of Fedora, Samba & Greyhole

Code: Select all

Maybe the problem comes from the ownership of the drive1 folder. Try this:

Code: Select all

chgrp users /var/hda/files/drives/drive1 chmod 775 /var/hda/files/drives/drive1
Still not working ?
Do you have other files in the same directory that do appear in the shares ?
If so:

Code: Select all

ls -la /var/hda/files/Movies/Deliverance/ ls -la /var/hda/files/drives/drive*/gh/Movies/Deliverance/
