You have no storage_pool_directory defined. Greyhole can't..

Hi there,

Completely new to Linux and right in the middle of the steep learning curve

I freshly installed Fedora 14 + Amahi 6: 1 small disk for the system, and two 2TB disks for the files. However, Greyhole server is now stopped. I digged in the forum but nothing worked.

Following the Greyhole troubleshooter:

1/ 2.6.35.6-45.fc14.x86_64
samba-3.5.5-68.fc14.1.x86_64
hda-greyhole-0.9.2-1.x86_64

The errors you see in greyhole.log are before you added your drives into the pool, using the storage pool page of the dashboard. Since you added them, the error stopped. So that's fine.

But your problem is that the MySQL database is missing tables. This seems to be a recurring problem with new installs...
To fix, see http://forums.amahi.org/viewtopic.php?p=13213#p13213

i.e.

Code: Select all

/usr/share/greyhole/db_migration-sqlite2mysql.sh
And make sure MySQL server starts on login.

Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Problem solved, using Guillaume's command, thanks

Anyway, I had several issues and completely re-install the system from scratch.

Have another one now from greyhole :? ... but will open a new thread
