Hi,

what is the best way to use a 80% filled 2TB hdd (ntfs filesystem) in the Greyhole storage pool???

Is it possible to mount that disk, check it and use it in the pool and all files stay on that disk?

Is there a workaround?

I wouldn't recommend using NTFS partitions in the storage pool.
Apart from being super slow, it's untested, and could create problems with Greyhole.

If you really want to try, you can mount it (see wiki page about adding hard drives), then include it in your pool, then move the files from that drive into /var/hda/files/share_name, then launch a greyhole --fsck when your / partition is almost full, and repeat until all the files are back into the pool (i.e. back on your 2TB disk, but in greyhole's directory).

Borrowing hard drive(s) from friends, moving your 1.5GB of data into those disks, formatting your 2TB as ext3, adding it into the pool, then moving back the files from the temporary drive(s) into the shares is the proper way to do this.

No.

As long as you're OK with the risks it involves, you can keep your disk as NTFS.
