I'm not sure what happened but I rebooted the computer and seem to have lost one of my hard drives, sdc1 below. Now I can't get it to mount:

Try (as root):

grep 7d5a9517-85f5-4013-a111-e843d52c8c19 /etc/fstab
mount -a
mount /var/hda/files/drives/drive4

It appears the drive4 (sdc1) is in fstab, but is not currently mounted... not sure why that would be...

You have a typo in your fstab file.

That line:

UUID=1d47d9fc-2b74-4f04-be5d-a0b2461ad284 /var/hda/files/drives/drive4

should be:

UUID=1d47d9fc-2b74-4f04-be5d-a0b2461ad284 /var/hda/files/drives/drive4 ext4 defaults 1 2

You're missing the ext4 defaults 1 2 part (maybe it's on a separate line below it, in which case you'll need to remove it from there, and put it at the end of the drive4 line.

Then do mount -a again and your drive should re-appear.
