Greyhole on Amahi 7
Re: Greyhole on Amahi 7
The workgroup is changed via the Dashboard. You may have to have Advanced Settings enabled on the HDA to see it.

Re: Greyhole on Amahi 7
I can't see where the workgroup can be changed in the Dashboard, even with Advanced Settings enabled on the HDA ....

It should be there. Did check all tabs? I thought I changed mine in their somewhere, just can't remember which tab. I will have to look tonight when I get off work.

@strangename: can you check to see if your two extra lines for greyhole you added for each extra samba share have been kept? or was the smb.conf also overwritten with the defaults?
I am referring to these two lines:
All my changes were overwritten by a default system smb.confdfree command = /usr/bin/greyhole-dfree
vfs objects = greyhole
I read somewhere on the forum that custom samba settings arent an option yet. Are they in AMAHI7?
maybe in the "extra parameter" field of the shares-tab?
* edit: found it, those extra share parameters can be added when "advanced settings" is enabled on the dashboard in the "extra parameters" option field pof the shares

Re: Greyhole on Amahi 7
I beleive there is an option in Amahi 7 to add those. I saw it in one of the settings tabs. Check the Networking, Settings or somewhere in another tab with Settings option.

Re: Greyhole on Amahi 7
@bigboot65: I found a quote of you in another topic about changing the WORKGROUP
but this option is no longer available in the AMAHI7 dashboardEnsure you have advanced settings enabled.
http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Advanced_Settings
Then select Setup-->Shares-->Settings and you will see the workgroup option there.
Re: Greyhole on Amahi 7
Well that's my point too, some replies ago.
Just by the fact that this GUI app is not in Amahi 7 yet.

Re: Greyhole on Amahi 7
That reply would be for Ubuntu. Did you check in the network area under Settings? I wished I could look around myself, but at work and cannot.
Seems like I saw it somewhere, but could be mistaken. If it's missing, we will need to file a bug.
