You shouldn't include shares in Greyhole that have constant read/writes. It's not designed for that sort of activity. See Greyhole Wiki for details.

Try removing that share and see if that helps.

Do you have mount_shares_locally installed? Guidance is in the wiki.

Thanks. I loaded the new version on Friday, and I've done a fair bit of organizing, including both moves, renames and deletions. So far no apparent issues, and best of all... NO ENDLESS LOOPS. I never knew I'd get so much joy from watching files rename without getting stuck in a loop.
