Greyhole Attic Question
Re: Greyhole Attic Question
I suppose it might be possible to make a non-pooled share, and fill it with symlinks to the greyhole attic folders.

Re: Greyhole Attic Question
Is it safe to browse to the attic(s) using terminal and delete the contents every now and then?
I agree that a feature to purge the attic, or removing the attic altogether would be a nice addition (recognizing that the plan is to remove them).
In my limited experience, Grayhole appears to be a great product. I'm going to buy some more hard drives and really test it out, but so far so good!

Re: Greyhole Attic Question
You can delete anything in the .gh_attic folders if you'd like. Those are just recycle bins or sort.
Note that if you have enabled the option to see the attics through a share, that share would then contain broken links, which you probably won't be able to delete through a mounted share.
Deleting the broken symlinks from the terminal would work.
