Magic, the problem was that greyhole.yml was owned by root, not apache.
Greyhole.conf now shows

Code: Select all

# sticky_files and stick_into options are nested - see http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhole#Greyhole_advanced_options sticky_files = Music/ # add any group of other settings # here in multiple lines storage_pool_directory = /var/hda/files/drives/drive1/gh, min_free: 10gb storage_pool_directory = /var/hda/files/drives/drive2/gh, min_free: 10gb storage_pool_directory = /var/hda/files/drives/drive3/gh, min_free: 10gb
So problem solved. Now back to square 1, how to turn off trash for CrashPlan. I'll try the code in the sample again...
Many thanks for taking to time to talk me through fixing this.

No problem, glad it is fixed. If you get the Crashplan part working, could you add that guidance to the wiki? I am sure there are others who would like to do the same thing.
