----------Thanks for your HELP--------
I have multiple shares but for me to better explain the problem i am going to be using \\hda\Docs every time i delete files from that share location, this applies to all the shares. The files get deleted as you expect at least on the surface, but the files still remain on my storage pool because its saying that i have maxed out my storage but i know have deleted multiple files freeing up space. Now my question is my greyhole having issues deleting the files? Is there a place i should look for to delete the files manually?

Re: Files are not deleting, could possibly use some help.
When you delete files, they do not go away permanently until you empty the attic. That is probably why you don't see the reclaimed space.
As root user do
Not sure if Greyhole is programmed to do this periodically, but I empty mine every few days. You can also create a Greyhole Trash share so you can remove them via Windows client as well.
As root user do
Code: Select all
greyhole -a

Woooo! it worked thanks a million. I just freed up 123GB of space.
Re: Files are not deleting, could possibly use some help.
Is there a possible way to see what is in this "attic" place that you clear in greyhole?
