Hi all
Two weeks ago I was running my home server on Ubuntu. Including second copies, it took 5-6 days for me to move files across disks (from NTFS to ext4), and for greyhole to process them, including making copies (this is about 2.5TB of files without duplicates). I was using greyhole 0.9.6 at first, and after hitting a bug which got fixed, moved to 0.9.7.
Now I am on Amahi, and I have spent about 8 days so far moving the same files (from ext4 to ext3). With duplication it looks like I am still several days away from greyhole processing all the files. Even fairly small .jpgs only seem to be processed at the rate of about one per second and I have thousands.
I know that some time back the greyhole on Amahi was switched to mySql so that isn't the issue. Does anyone know why on Amahi things seem to be taking tat much longer? Were there performance improvements in greyhole after 0.9.2?
