n00b here so be gentle, but if the Settings>Server>Greyhole is Red and says 'Stopped', then why can I connect to the hda and see a share that is supposed to use the pool, and indeed is showing space available that accurately reflects what the pool would be if it were running?
I'll attach all the Greyhole logs from the troubleshooting page but was hoping there was something obvious I'm misunderstanding here, or a terminal command I could use to verify status?
Is the Dashboard wrong like this sometimes?
Greyhole Server 'Stopped' but still working???

One of the options defined in the samba config for a greyhole share tells samba to use a script to calculate how much free space is available. (If this weren't the case samba would only report the free space of the landing zone! Not very useful.) Even if the greyhole daemon is not running, samba will continue to call this script, which uses the greyhole list of storage pool drives to calculate free space. This is why you're still seeing the total pool space.
