Problems with hda-diskmount

Postby Shabubu » Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:46 pm

I have just upgraded my hda from Fedora Amahi 12/5 to 14/6. The hardware has not changed and I followed the guide on the previous installation for adding my 4 extra hard disks with no problem.

Now when I try I the hda-diskmount command just ignores those disks, skipping from my system drive at sda to my backup disk at sdf. the ourtput is below

[root@localhost ~]# ls -1 /dev/disk/by-id/ | egrep -v "part|scsi"

No usable Linux, Windows or Mac partitions found on your disks.

The drives are visible and have had the partitions deleted and recreated using gparted, which has no trouble seeing them. How do I format the fstab lines using the UUID's above ?

Could be a problem with lvm. Can you post a screenshot of gparted?
And th output of the command mount without any parameters.

Code: Select all

fdisk -l
would also help.
