What is the greyhole real disc space? - SOLVED

Postby ralfb » Sun Jan 16, 2011 4:06 am

Hello,

My HDA shares when seen from other networked PCs (Finder (Mac) / Explorer (win)) reports 1 MB free space only.

When I boot up the Amahi Server I get a low disk space warning on each drive.

HOWEVER the Amahi dashboard shows me that I've supposedly have 323GB of space left across 3 x 2TB drives. (see screenshot)

Not sure what to make of this.

What is real disc space now?

Anything I can do ?

regards,
Ralf

That's because you probably have 5% reserved space on each of your hard drives.
That space won't be used by Greyhole, and thus, to GH, it looks like your drives are all full.

See some more info about this here: http://bugs.amahi.org/issues/show/693
