Adding drives

I'm a little confused about adding drives.
I just added a 2nd drive to my Amahi following the "Use the hard drive for all shares" and then moved down to see how to add it to the Greyhole pool and the commands look the same...
Was i wrong to do the first procedure? Should i have gone straight to "Use the hard drive in your Greyhole storage pool" procedure? If yes, will changing UUID=c67051e2-ecd2-4753-95d2-cc788fd497bc /var/hda/files ext4 defaults 1 2 to UUID=c67051e2-ecd2-4753-95d2-cc788fd497bc /var/hda/files/drives/drive1 ext4 defaults 1 2 in the fstab solve it? Should I then move back everything, ( mv /var/hda/files/drives/drive1/* /var/hda/files/ ) and check the add to pool checkbox for the drive as well as add the shares I want to the pool and let it move everything by itself?
Can I have a shared folder exclusively on a separate disk that will not be in the pool? I mean besides the 2x2TB disks that I will use as a pool can i have the torrent folder for example on a 1TB disk outside the pool? I assume that if this is done i would have to use the "Use the hard drive for only some shares" procedure right?

Well I actually did all the above and everything works fine so far...
