the file

Code: Select all

/etc/dnsmasq.d/amahi-pxe.conf
is part of the amahi-netboot-0.5-1.noarch.rpm package.

did you install it?
(NOT with yum install)

In any case, we just pushed it to the repo now. Yum clean metadata will likely be needed for the next couple of days to pick it up with yum install.

No, mine was 0.2.

But I just removed it and re-installed it (you are right I needed yum clean metadata), and everything is working! Awesome job guys! :D

One minor thing, when I install GParted from web panel, it seems the message do configuration never ends, so it doesn't say install successful. But I just ignored it and it works fine.

This might not even be something worth fixing, but in case anyone interested, here is the installation log (looks perfectly fine to me)

Code: Select all

======= app install begin @ 2014-02-01 15:03:29 -0500 ========== Installing app id jyj1eictns under /var/hda/platform/html ENV=production file /var/hda/tmp/amahi-download-cache/381a2438f1062cc4e544f11a77c784bd6d212cf2 picked up from cache. I think the cache is from my last download. Any case, let me know if you guys need more testing, I'd be glad to help.

That looks like a good install.

The Web ui issue is something I have experienced too once. May be browser related. Please file a bug for that one. It's not app specific but an overall potential problem.

installed gparted after updating amahi-netboot on Amahi 7 and booted an old laptop of PXE,
booted right up and loaded gparted without issues.

I am gonna work on getting some of the other netboot apps in the Amahi store updated as well. Unfortunately Parted Magic has been dropped as it went to a commercial product.
