That can be done, but problem is all the Amahi apps use the other path. The Fedora version of net-boot also sets the path as such. Only the Ubuntu version can be changes without recompiling code.

Not sure I like the idea of moving things around. Might need to get cpg's take on this. We need to justify the means for extra work. Please file a bug and we'll see where it goes from there.

Took a look at the netboot github page,https://github.com/amahi/netboot/blob/m ... tboot.spec

it's using a different directory. /var/lib/tftpboot rather than the previous /usr/share/amahi-netboot/tfpt

I forked it and can try packaging it with updated syslinux files, menus, and such if that would help.

Certainly you are welcome to give it a shot. Suggest a bug report be filed.

You could package this for Amahi7, correct? Since we have a netboot app, it should be simple to update the F19 version of it. I will be happy to assist as needed.

yes, the rpm is in the release folder.(amahi-netboot-0.2-1.noarch.rpm)

It can completely replace the current netboot app.

I just tweaked cpg's .spec file a bit. Full list of changes and to-do is listed on the git-hub page.

just need confirmation from somebody else that it works right now.

Not sure if I know where to look. Can you PM me the link? I can then add it to the package and have you test it.

Sorry that I've been MIA for quite a while, but I see that things have been moving along nicely since I first posted this. Thanks to everyone for their help, and special thanks to bigfoot65 for keeping everything organized. 8-)
