I been using Subsonic for a few days now. So far, I like it. It is fairly simple, straight forward, found all the music with out problem, the kid like it to because they don't have to open up another program to listen to music.
I have had two unexpected errors through one of which I have attached a log. See attached
I have a couple of questions I could use some help with; with this program you are able to scale and play different music format, it transcode the the files on the fly, very cool. the program wants LAME, which is installed by Ferdora in /usr/bin, sub-sonic wants lame to be installed in var/hda/web-apps/subsonic/transcode, or in a directory which is present in your PATH environment variable. So, I would think the easiest way would be to make sure lame's directory is present in my PATH environment variable. How do I do that?
Next question, transcoding from Flac to mp3, any ideas
