hi i have edited my config.xml and added the line
<map from="vob" to="video/mpeg"/>
this has made the vob files play just fine but only if the vob file is a movie directory but as soon as i try to play the dvd copys that are in a directory structure like a dvd typically 2012/video_ts/video_ts_01.01.vob you browse to the dvd and nothing happens
but divx m2ts xvid do play

any ideas

For DVD-menus it's the .ifo files that need to be opened.

I would like to see some testing on it. It works for me and some others but I'm still hearing some reports of problems.
Hi,

Please include my account to testers of this application.
I would try it as DLNA server for lossless music. Any available DLNA/UPNP servers isn’t support transcoding and advanced tag tree navigation.

My HDA works 24/7 such as NAS with torrent service. So, maybe I can help you with any bags report.

Installed it today.

So far so good, running along side DLNA.
Transcode my .mkv files to my PS3. :D
Now trying to figure out the UI to edit my scanned folders.

That's great to hear!

For some instructions on the scanned folders as well as how to use import scripts check out the Mediatomb Wiki page for instructions.

Please add me to the testers list.
I would like to switch from the included dlna server to mediatomb and have lots of media on my machine to stream.
Hopefully mediatomb can become the new one click dlna server of choice.
