Need help picking apps to release

Postby rampage537 » Mon Jun 14, 2010 2:07 pm

Testers its time to come up with a few apps to release and who would know better for what is ready then you guys/gals.

They have to be apps that have been in beta with no outstanding issues.

So let me have three of your favorite apps you would like to see released, I am looking to release soon so the sooner the better.

Here are my nominations for this app release. I've been using CrashPlan since before it was packaged for Amahi, and I think its a great program. (although I have not had to restore anything yet.) I'm not sure that the package is ready yet, but still one of my nominees. I've also tested Bamboo Invoice and Gutuma, and both worked well. These would both be good candidates for Small Business or SOHO use.

Hope this helps,

My votes are as follows:

1. Clonezilla (this one has had a lot of user interest. I have given several users temp access to test_)
2. WebCalendar
3. MediaWiki (this one was live until we converted to F12. Now it's compatible and was the original Amahi Wiki core)

An alternate would be ArcademSX. If it is released, need to release the 2 game packs with it. I feel this is a good spread of app types, something for everyone :D

Clonezilla
Drupal
amahitunes

And if there is any way to stick in some for f13, these are the only ones I really need.

Sorry for the 16. I was thinking of drupal16 instead of fedora 13.

Hi Guys,

My nominations:

1. Web Apps Proxy (Blackberry Support?)
2. Crashplan
3. Clonezilla

I've had my eye on these ever since they were announced as a beta.

Thanks.

geerty159,

eXtplorer is already live. Do you have one more you would like to see?
