Amahi 5.2 RC1 - please test!

please take the release candidate 1 for amahi 5.1 for a test!

rpm -Uvh two rpms:

• 1st rpm: http://alpha.amahi.org/tmp/hda-platform ... noarch.rpm
• 2nd rpm: 32bits http://alpha.amahi.org/tmp/hdactl-3.1-8.i686.rpm or 64 bits: http://alpha.amahi.org/tmp/hdactl-3.1-8.x86_64.rpm

please report back, including mentioning whether you were fully up-to-date before and or after the update and especially if your dashboard does not work after you install these two rpms!

Updated machine and rebooted then installed 2 rpms. Still have dashboard and all looks well.

It didn't work at first for me. Rails was not starting up and complaining about the version I was using. I checked gem list --local and the version was what was expected (2.3.4). I followed the suggested solution anyways: gem install -v2.3.4 rails. It appeared to install an older version of rack (1.0.1) but now the dashboard comes up (http://hda). Note that gem list --local now reports two versions of rack, the origina 1.1.0 and the older one that I apparently installed (1.0.1). Other than that glitch things appear to be working well.

hmm, the rpms above in RC1 are supposed to fix this issue automatically, though!

did you install the rpms before or after your "gem install" fix?

(we're trying to avoid users having to do that!)
