Hey all,
Hit an issue with F14. I can't seem to get it to resolve.
Currently I am receiving one of two errors:
[Thu Dec 23 20:47:37 2010] [error] [client 192.168.1.109] PHP Warning: file_get_contents(modules_path/_shared/lang/English.lang): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/hda/web-apps/mythtv/html/classes/Translate.php on line 168
or conversely:
[Thu Dec 23 20:47:37 2010] [error] [client 192.168.1.109] PHP Fatal error: Failed to open translation file: modules_path/_shared/lang/English.lang in /var/hda/web-apps/mythtv/html/classes/Translate.php on line 172
Every thing that I've found using google is no good and mythtvtalk.org has seem to have lost my post on that website. Does anyone know the fix or does someone know of a guide to fix?
Cheers!
Peter Cross

I hope this is a stupid question but do those files actually exist?
Re: MythTV Backend App on F14 alpha Amahi.
Hey Dizzy1,
Yes they actually do exist. Got me wondering about one of the fixes for F12 to get the program to work. you no longer have to rename at line 24 posix_uname to php_uname. Once I removed that step everything worked perfect.
Problem solved!
Cheers!

Re: MythTV Backend App on F14 alpha Amahi.
Sorry for bumping an old thread but this is the most recent post I could see about the Mythtv Backend.
Wondering if I can give it a go on my box as I've just spent most of the day getting my dvb-t card to work in fedora (is now thankfully) and I'd love to see if I can get the mythbackend working for it as well.
Thanks!

This app has not been worked in quite some time. As of now, it's on the list but cannot say when we will get back to it. The original contributor has not updated it in quite some time, so it's not working.

Re: MythTV Backend App on F14 alpha Amahi.
Ok no worries thanks for the info. I'll do a manual install and see what I can do from there, can't really see how you can turn the backend into a webapp anyway but I'm not used Mythtv in a while.
Re: MythTV Backend App on F14 alpha Amahi.
I don't think it was a web app, just the backend. We do have some Amahi apps with no web app functionality, such as DLNA.
