I am having two problems with the VPN, these problems may be related then again they may not be.
Issue 1:
I can VPN to my server, it connects just fine but I am not able to use my DNS Server. It refuses to load websites, and it gives the error can't find google.com: query refused when I try using nslookup. This happens whether I VPN via Linux or Windows. I also have port 53 routed to my server from my gateway (just in case)
Issue 2:
I am also not able to ping the other PCs on my network, I am only able to ping the Amahi server itself. The external networks I tested on are not the same as the network I have at home.
^^Upon further research it seems my Windows PCs ignore the pings while my Linux PCs reply .. but it is impossible for all my PCs to directly ping a VPN client (are we supposed to be able to ping a VPN client?)
I'd really like to use this VPN for games that require a LAN connection (some old skool games only have LAN capability). Is this possible with OpenVPN and Amahi?
