OpenVPN very slow response on Mobile (cell) netwotk

Greetings,
Hope you folks can offer some assistance with my OpenVPN install.
Install of OpenVPN on my Amahi server went well. Seems to work properly from WiFi outside of home network. That said, I have yet to test using the Dsshboatd.
Things seen to slow down significantly when I test / use over Mobile network.
Are there any settings that need to be disabled and / or changed when using the VPN on mobile network. I have disabled ref. to IPv6.
Any suggestions or assistsnce you can offer is apprciated. Thanks for your ongoing patience and understanding.
