I'm not familiar with Apple software and I'm trying to set up OpenVPN on my new iPAD.
According to the wiki
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/OpenVPN_on_iOS I need to create an opvn file.
How do you do this? I tried a plain text file, but the app rejects this when it is transferred to the iPad.
Certificates load up fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

How do you do this?
Name the file OPVN.opvn and include the text from the wiki page. You will have to use iTunes to add it to the app. Wiki guidance provides the details.
BTW, we just updated the OpenVPN app for Amahi 9 as the certificates expired last week. You will need to uninstall/reinstall the app and download the new client certificates from the wiki.
We are updating it now with the latest, so may not be available until later today.

Thanks Big.
To be specific, I create a text file, past config info from the wiki, save the text file as OPVN. I then change the extension from .txt to .opvn and transfer to the iPad?

Yes along with the client certificates. I just updated the wiki page with the latest guidance for iOS.

@hemington1
I changed the info you added to a note instead. The place it was inserted made it appear that this could only be done with OS X.
Seems better as a note in my opinion.
Thanks for the contribution! Will close this thread.
