how to install openvpn

Hi all,

I loaded 5 dollar amahi credit and did a express install of the openvpn app, but when I log in to my hda host, there's no /etc/openvpn folder, testing the vpn connection in the myhda page says openvpn not active.

I restarted my amahi server a couple times without success.

Can somebody give me some help on how to get the openvpn to work?

and I did create portforwarding for port 1194 in my router as well

See bug 1910 for a solution on the OpenVPN server showing stopped in the HDA Dashboard.

I presume you understand OpenVPN is used outside your network. Have you checked out the OpenVPN Troubleshooting page in the wiki?

There might be something there related to your issue.
