Android openVPN: SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

Postby akreaxun » Sun Sep 20, 2015 4:18 am

Hi :-)

I tried to set up openVPN on Android with the information provided in the wiki. I.e.:
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/OpenVPN
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VPNAndroid

Contorl Panel gives green light. Find the protocol of VPNAndroid below. Towards the end (bold) I think I identified the problem. Yet, I got no idea how to solve it...

..TEXT REMOVED...see attachment.

I didn't dare to just overthrow everything by:
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/OpenVP ... rtificates
and creating everything from scratch. Is there an easyier solution for this?

Thank you very much

Hey

I upgraded to amahi 8. I still have the same problem. In addition file paths in https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/OpenVP ... rtificates are not correct (anymore?). So I struggle setting up a VPN to my amahi.

Any help would be appreciated.

The guidance does appear to be out-of-date for Amahi 8. The community provided this guidance so hopefully someone can update it.

I will post guidance here if I figure something out that will help you.
