Hi,
just installed IPsec VPN, could you please check if the port forwarding settings:

Local IP 192.168.0.10 (amahi server)
Local Start Port 500
Local End Port 500
External IP 0.0.0.0
External Start Port 500
External End Port 500
Protocol UDP

Thanks,

Thanks, but I am not sure this addresses my question. I read that link before, but the only instructions about port forwarding in routers is:

This VPN stack has many advantages, although it still requires two ports to be forwarded from your router to your HDA. These are
500 UDP and 4500 UDP
UDP, not TCP.

The rest is about Fedora settings, not router.

I checked with http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ but port 500 looks closed with my config.

In particular, I would like to know what should I put in external IP.

Thanks!

I don't believe that is the appropriate router feature. You should only need to provide the internal and external port along with the internal IP address. I use a Cisco (DD-WRT) and under NAT/QoS I enter the port from, port to, IP address, along with TCP or UDP protocol.

Maybe try leaving the external blank. If that does not work, you will need to read the instructions for your router. The port forwarding feature differs among devices. We don't make it a practice to get into the details since there are so many router brands.
