Get rid of RDP, it defeats the purpose of VPN. VPN is made to connect your computer to your server, not to your client computers. Its basically just like a cord from the computer your on to your home router.
I have RDP enabled temporarily due to an installation I am monitoring elsewhere, the connection is not active.

Additionally the log does not show the same IP as the one on my HDA profile. The IP in the HDA profile is correct.

This makes no sense to me.

If you can connect and everything is ok, how can it be the wrong ip? Unless you have more than one IP at home.

Thats all I can think of.

Your either not doing it correctly, not putting the right info in or something. What have you changed on your hda since you installed?

I cannot connect to the VPN services at all, I suspect it a problem on the end of the HDAconnect configuration not reporting the correct IP from my HDA profile. I have never used OpenVPN before so I am at a loss as to how to configure it manually.

The reason I can connect to the RDP @ the port I am using is because it is relaying the proper IP address.

Do you happen to have a guide to configuring a VPN connection manually?

There is a problem with the DynDNS system. This is being investigated.

For some people the VPN access will not work.
