SOLVED: OpenVPN doesnt appear to be installed

Bought the one click openVPN app and installed it.
installed the client on my Windows 8.1 laptop
forwarded port 1194 UDP to the IP address of my hda

Tethered my laptop top my phone so I would not be on the same network as my HDA and tried to connect to VPN

The connection times out so I started trying to troubleshoot why.

Please check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file for errors and report here.

I am going to add onto this thread rather than start a new one. I am having similar issue as OP. From logs its seems sha-1 sum check is failing on download:

I just found the bug tracker and noticed that this issue seems reported already. I will await resolution there.

We are working the server issue and hope to have service restored soon.

Patch file has been changed to pull from a temporary location until we resolve our server issue.

Please uninstall the app, then reinstall and it should be working.

Let us know if this is resolved.
