VNC in conjuction with VPN

I don't know if this a dumb question but I'm wondering if is it possible to use VNC in conjunction with VPN? Essentially, use VPN to login to the network and then use VNC to access the HDA terminal?

In theory it should be possible. Only way to find out is try.
