Ipsec VPN to Sonicwall?

Hi all,

I have tried searching to see if anyone has posted this question before, but didn't find what I was looking for. I was wondering if the ipsec vpn app would work for creating a tunnel from home to work?

I was using pfsense just for this, but re-installed amahi for the many possibilities.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I expect to delve into VPN more too with AM 7. I would also like to learn VPN tunnel termination on pfSense and hardware devices like Sonicwall. I will post here as I test down the road. If the server doesn't do web apps publically for some unforseen reason then my only fallback will be VPN tunnels to clients amahi vm's.

OpenVPN works great on F14 by default. I haven't tried it on Ubuntu 12 but I will be soon.

I would think a little reading on sonicwall and openvpn would clear up any confusion the OP might have.
Maybe a specific issue would help us help you.
