IPSec Config Question

Postby smccloud » Tue Feb 28, 2012 2:47 pm

Ok,

Is it possible to have my IPSeC VPN hand out specific addresses on my normal subnet (172.16.6.0). i.e. 172.16.6.50-59? I have two IPs I'd like to hit when connected to my IPSeC VPN (from work) but I can't in the current config. I have yet to figure out how to tell it to hand out specific IPs either. I would just use OpenVPN & bridge it, but the IT staff at work has blocked UDP 1194 & I don't really want to re-configure that.

Try to assign static IPs or aliases to the machines in question behind your network, then see how they react when VPNing into the LAN from outside.

I'm sure this can be done, but it's nowhere covered by what Amahi interface can do. You would need to dive into your etc/network/interfaces file
