Anyone able to VPN in using a phone running Gingerbread?

Postby rbmattis » Tue Jun 07, 2011 2:09 pm

My Droid X now has Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), so far I've seen no evidence that OpenVPN is supported. Anyone else had better luck?

I really don't want to downgrade to use VPN.

Thanks,
rbmattis

True, but its not that difficult to install the rooted version of Gingerbread on the X. I have not tried VPN on mine though.

Hey Rednus, I got rooted GB on my DX.

Now how do you install OpenVPN? I found something called "OpenVPN Installer" but i think it needs binaries and other nonsense.
