Website hosting and VPN

I am struggling with the concept of vpn. I have downloaded the client and had it working successfully. However I also want to host several websites so need to forward port 80. Does this mean that I can't use the vpn?

It looks like from this wiki that there should be a "webapps" option on the apps page. I don't see it. Has this changed?

OK you need to check the advanced tab to reveal the new webapp button.
