Why not make the bridged openVPN default?

Hi Everyone,

After the latest update, I saw that my settings that allow the bridged openVPN are overwritten. I had to repeat the process described here: (http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VPNBridge).

I was wondering, is there a specific reason why bridged mode is not the default? IMHO most users would like to have it, since it allows DLNA and AmahiTunes for remote machines.

hmm, this merits two new issues in the bug tracker!

one bug - make sure updates to not override user-configured vpn cnfiguration!

one feature - that we make bridging the default!
