OpenVPN from Ubuntu Netbook Remix

Postby stueyboy » Thu Mar 25, 2010 1:56 am

Hi there. I'm having problems connecting from an Ubuntu netbook to my HDA. All the settings are as described in the setup and it goes through the motions then fails to connect. Any pointers to where I should look to see what is going wrong?

I understand your pain. It is not easy, but it might take more than a few try before it works.

You did follow this tutorial? http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VPN_Ubuntu

Did you ever sort your problem?

I have been connecting fine from my eee 701 netbook running UNR, so it does work.

Hi there

I havent revisited this in a long time and might have another go as the UNR new release is now installed on the netbook. I do however now have a different problem with my server which is being a bit unstable and I cant even vpn from my windows laptop. On startup the openvpn server is failing so no idea what is going on.
