Hi,
I am able to make a connection to my HDA over VPN (I can ping the HDA, and ssh into it), but I am having trouble accessing the shares. My client is Fedora, and I would like to do the equivalent of Windows 'map a network drive' to my shares. I see there is something in the Places menu called 'Connect to a server...' but I don't know exactly what to input. I tried the Windows Share option for the connection type (as opposed to SSH, FTP, etc.), and I put in what I thought was correct, but it always said that the client cannot connect to the shares. Any ideas as to how I can connect to shares so I can attempt to stream movies to my computer? Thanks!
Accessing Shares over VPN
Re: Accessing Shares over VPN
There is guidance in the wiki located at http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/SharingToLinux for shares in Linux. Try this and it should meet your requirements.
