logging into eyeos from another workstation

Postby bryhawks » Sat Dec 12, 2009 8:40 pm

I am trying to suss out logging in to eyeos from another workstation on my network. I can log into it directly from my amahi server but when I attempt to from any other workstation I end up at my ISP's search page. Is there any port I need to forward to the server itself? The router is running DHCP and DNS(not interested in changing it as I have other configs depending on it). I have killed the DHCP and DNS on the amahi server by the way.

the short urls are DNS based (hence the advantage. you could create static names in your network for eyeos so that when you type eyeos it goes to your HDA.
ot make it the default app, or something like that.
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1
