I haven't changed anything in a few years. It just stopped working the other day. I can connect if I'm on the LAN but the android and ios app will not connect from any remote connection.

HDA shows up fine in amahi.org

VPN access still works

Local network still works.

Just Amahi Anywhere stopped working Remote. I re-installed the plugin on the HDA and restarted. I've removed the app on a few devices and re-installed. I don't know where to start looking for the fix because the error is just "Connection Error click to retry"

Check the log files for errors.

I'm also having problems with Amahi Anywhere when connecting remote from an iPhone. On LAN, everything is fine and OpenVPN is working as well. I see no errors in amahi-anywhere.log. This is what it shows for today, and where it works is when I'm connecting via LAN:

Please submit a bug report.

The developer will take a look and hopefully provide a solution.

Any updates here?

I've hit a dead end. I'm good at following directions but I can't find help on this.
I've emailed support and they asked for a log file from openvpn.
I provided it but have gotten no response in a week.

I don't know where the IOS or Android app store logs.
I don't know the command to get the log from the server.

No action on it, but I have found that I can connect to my server using OpenVPN and then Amahi Anywhere works when I'm remote. However, you do have to set up OpenVPN to make that work. It's not too tough, though.
