Sorry Howat, I don't think this will be getting resolved if I am honest.

According to CPG it all works fine and it is our Cameras.

Ouch.. that throws a spanner in the works... I'll have to work out an alternative. I wonder if ZoneMinder would work for me if I tried an Ubuntu based Amahi server. Anybody think there might be something to that?

Sorry to say that won't help.

There is no Ubuntu-based #Amahi server available. Not to mention the app did not work with Ubuntu when it was supported.

Only the latest release is supported which is #Amahi 10 on Fedora 25.

You coul try installing it manually vs using the zoneminder App. There are tutorials on the internet that might help.

This old thread can be closed. I believe the problem was due to the IP camera I had not being ONVIF compliant.
