OpenVPN not working

I have OpenVPN installed. It was working but now it is not. If I check the status on the Amahi dashboard under Settings > Servers the status is "running." If I run

systemctl status openvpn\@amahi.service

the status is "active [running]". If I go to the Control Panel on Amahi.org and click on "Check It Now" the little dots icon spins but never resolves to tell me success or failure. I am certain that the port (1194) is open. This service worked just fine a few months ago. Any suggests where to look next?
