Hello,
I have only recently installed Amahi, and added the ushare application.

I have copied two divx/avi files to the ushare directory.

When I connect to the ushare directory from my xbox360, it doesnt show the video files. It shows no files.

I see no errors in the amahi log.

Any suggestions? I have tried editing the ushare.conf file, but nothing has worked. I also cant seem to get the web interface working either, not sure if its related...

thanks that worked. I am now getting an error when I try to play the avi.

that is the xbox 360 being screwy. reboot it and play again. should work.
(actually, would you add the above and any other experience/observations to the wiki??)

Tried rebooting, still got the problem? Any other ideas?

Do I need to be connected to xbox live to get this to work? I read somewhere that the xbox downloads the codecs each time, so you need to be online? Is that right?

I am sooo close to getting this working...frustrating!

i did install the divx codecs once.
checking each time smacks me of big brother, but ....

mine is connected when it's on.
not sure. but you can easily try!

Ok, just moved the xbox into another room. Need to wire up that room sooner than planned
